What floor plan options are available, and what is the average size of each apartment?
With 10 floor plans ranging from 575 to 1,299 square feet, Cortona at Forest Park surely has the perfect apartment to ensure you feel at home. Cortona offers studio apartments along with one and two bedroom floor plans.
Do you offer furnished or short-term lease options?
Cortona at Forest Park offers flexible lease term options ranging from 3 to 18 months in length. We partner with Hello Landing to offer furnished apartments with flexible lease terms at a two month minimum.
Are pets welcome at the community, and what is your pet policy?
Cortona at Forest Park is pet friendly and offers both a self-service pet spa and dog park on site. Pets are limited to two per apartment and are verified via PetScreening at a $25 annual cost. Residents incur a $300 non-refundable deposit per pet and $35 per month in pet rent. Don't forget to ask about our Pet of The Month!
How convenient is commuting from the community to major employers, schools, or downtown areas?
Interstate 64/US Route 40, located nearby, is the backbone of St. Louis travel! Generally less than a ten minute commute to Washington University, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and downtown St. Louis, your daily commute is a breeze.
What amenities are offered on-site (such as pool, fitness center, clubhouse, or coworking space)?
Cortona at Forest Park features a 24 hour fitness center, clubhouse with game tables and coffee bar, large pool area featuring hot tub, barbeque grills, and gas fire pit, and private area for working or studying.
What parking options are available, including garages, guest parking, or EV charging stations?
Cortona at Forest Park offers reserved parking spaces to our residents at cascading pricing, including garage and carport spaces, covered EV charging stations, and surface lot parking. All resident parking is fenced and gated.
Are there laundry facilities in the units or on-site?
Each apartment has a washer and dryer in the unit for resident convenience.
Are utilities included in the rent, and which services are residents responsible for?
Our convenience package includes water service, trash and recycling, sewer billing, and pest treatment at a flat rate. Residents are responsible for their electric service via Ameren and internet/cable packages.
Do apartments include modern appliances, patios/balconies, or extra storage space?
Each apartment will include full size stainless steel appliances, washer, dryer, pantry for dry storage, and at least one walk-in closet. Tall ceilings and vinyl floors offer a timeless look. Balcony options vary depending on floor plan and location within the building.
What’s the neighborhood like, and what restaurants, parks, and shopping centers are nearby?
The Clayton-Tamm neighborhood is a hotspot for local cuisine, shopping, and events!

Metro Transit will get you where you need to go! Only a short walk from our front door, you'll find the Hampton/Oakland stop of the #90 route. Please refer to Metro Transit for current St. Louis City routes.

Cortona at Forest Park offers a tremendous location conveniently located near parks, local restaurants, shops, and highways.
How can I apply for an apartment, and what documents or fees are required?
Applications can be completed via www.cortonaforestpark.com. Applicants are prompted to submit two recent paystubs or other documents pertinent to income, along with an identity verification. Applicants incur a $50 screening fee and a $425 administrative fee.
What are the move-in costs, and is a security deposit required?
Move in costs include prorated rent, utility, or other billing if applicable. Security deposit requirements vary applicant to applicant, but is not required under some circumstances.
Is renters’ insurance mandatory, and what coverage is recommended?
Renters' insurance is mandatory with $300,000 personal liability coverage.
What happens if I need to move out early or break my lease?
If you need to end your lease early, a 60-day notice to vacate is required. Buyout fees and reletting fees to terminate may apply.
How do I submit maintenance requests, and how quickly are they typically resolved?
Maintenance requests are often completed within 24 hours. Easily submit maintenance requests via your Resident Portal, a convenient app for maintenance and other communication with staff.
